The award was presented to Muhammed Emin Akman, who won first place in a poster design competition organized by the Ondokuz Mayıs University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center among students at OMÜ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to raise awareness of the Turkish language. Prof. Dr. Serkan ŞEN, Director of OMÜ-TÜRKÇE, stated in his speech at the award ceremony that Turkish is one of the world's most ancient languages in terms of history and is also among the most widely spoken languages on earth. He emphasized that our language possesses qualities that are highly compatible with computer software in terms of structure. He shared with the students that the computer backgrounds on which the designed poster will be printed will be gifted to them at the beginning of the upcoming academic year. After expressing gratitude to School Director Semih SÖZEN for his interest and sensitivity, the award presentation proceeded. The award ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo session with the students.
