No. Students attending Turkish language courses are provided with coursebooks and workbooks free of charge as part of the course fee they have paid.
7. When and for how long are the classes held?
Classes start at 09:00 and end at 14:50. Classes are held for 6 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and for 4 hours on Friday, making a total of 28 hours per week.
8. If I decide not to continue the course, can I get a refund?
No. Course fees paid by students are non-refundable for any reason.
9. Who can take the C1 Turkish Proficiency Exam?
Anyone who wants to certify their Turkish language proficiency can take the C1 Turkish Proficiency Exam.

12. Is the proficiency certificate issued by OMÜ-TÜRKÇE valid at other universities?
Yes. Turkish language proficiency certificates issued by Turkish language teaching centers affiliated with higher education institutions recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) are valid at all universities.
13. What score do I need to pass the proficiency exam?
The Turkish Proficiency Exam consists of four skills: Reading-Comprehension, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Each skill is assessed separately. To receive a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate, the average score across all four skills must be 60.
14 How can I appeal my examination results?
Students may submit an appeal regarding their examination results within three days following the announcement of the results. Students wishing to appeal must complete the Examination Grade Appeal Form available on our website in full and submit it to the relevant unit.
