A colorful gathering took place at Batı Park, one of Samsun's beautiful picnic areas. Students learning Turkish at the A2 level came together for a fun picnic event. The picnic provided an opportunity for students to practice their language skills while also creating an environment for strengthening social bonds. The students supported each other by communicating in Turkish to better understand topics they encounter in daily life. During the event, the students had the opportunity to experience traditional Turkish picnic culture. In addition to enjoying a barbecue, they also had the chance to taste delicious snacks from Turkish cuisine. Throughout the picnic, various games (tug-of-war, jump rope, volleyball, dodgeball) were played, giving students the opportunity to use Turkish more effectively and improve their communication skills. Before the games, they had the opportunity to learn Turkish game rhymes and understand how to start the game by counting. These activities made the students' language learning process more enjoyable and effective. This picnic, where the students had a good time, helped them increase their interest in Turkish culture, make new friends, and chat with Turks. The students will remember this beautiful day with the hope of getting together for future events. This special picnic event held at Samsun Batı Park seems set to continue fostering unity and solidarity among Turkish language learners.
